The morning after Christmas we woke up to tons of snow and it was still snowing. It really never stopped snowing all day long. Here are a couple pictures of my parent's backyard.
Letty playing in the front yard in the snow. Either she's really light or that snow's really strong. I can't believe how much snow there was, it has been a really long time since there was so much snow that we could pull a sled down the street. My dad pulled out the four-wheelers and Dan and I ran to the store and bought the kids snow boots, gloves and a sled so they could get pulled up and down the road. Letty loved it. She was outside in the snow more than anyone. The snow wasn't quite wet enough to make snowballs or snowmen, so they just played in it instead.
Dan had to drive back home on Friday so he could work the next day. My friend/neighbor, Tricia, was up there too and going to be driving home on Tuesday, so she said she would take us home with her. We spent as much time as we could with Dan before he had to leave. He had planned on leaving around 4:00, but didn't get off until 6:30. It was nice to have two days with him though. I just love these Daddy and Jacyn pictures.
Jacyn had to put her boots on, whether she was dressed or not. She loves shoes, just like her sister and mother.

I finally got pictures of the funniest thing that Jacyn does. If she wants to go somewhere or hears us talking about going somewhere and we don't have our shoes on, she brings them to us and tries to put them on our feet. Here she is taking my mom her shoe.

While my mom was with us for Thanksgiving we saw some little bell toys that we thought we could make ourselves. My mom bought a big dowel and she already had some bells, so all we had to do was drill holes in the dowel and tie on the bells. So, Letty went out to the garage with Papa and she got to use the drill press to drill the holes in the dowels.
Here's Letty with the final product. We painted the dowels and tied on the bells and they were finished.

Sunday night my Aunt Darlene and Uncle David were having a family dinner at their house. My Dad and my Aunt Kathy came and picked us up and we had a great time.
Letty always looks so cute in pictures.
Thomas had a blast playing with my cousins' kids.

This is the only good picture that I got of Jacyn. Here she is with my cousin Sunshine.

Finally, a picture of my Dad, my Aunt Jan and Uncle Mike.

We have one of those bell toys. I think you made a pretty perfect imitation!
