Yesterday morning, May 7, 2008 was Thomas' Kindergarten Graduation Program. He got a certificate and everything. All the kids in his class sang songs for the parents and then they all had little parts that they said. It was so cute. After the program we came home and Dan had to finish packing and then we had to take him back to the airport in Vegas. It was sad, but it should be much easier this time around. He's done with Chicago (after a total of 10 weeks) and now he's in Boise (for an undetermined time). This time he's gone for only 12 days, then we get to see him for 4 days, then gone again for 8 days and we see him for another 4 days. Not too bad. Since his flight was scheduled to leave at 3:25 Las Vegas time I decided to stop and visit with my cousin Trudy on our way home. She lives in North Las Vegas. We went to a park right by her house that is really cool and had KFC for dinner. We ended up staying a lot later than I had planned, but the kids had a blast and I had fun talking with her. We got home pretty late and it was a really windy drive, but we made it home safe and sound.

Here is Thomas getting his Certificate from his teacher Mrs. Barrett.

Here's a video of Thomas singing apples and bananas and he's looking at Jacyn and making funny smiley faces at her. It's pretty cute.
Here's Thomas saying his part in the program.
This was at the end of the program. The kids were all pretty proud of themselves for doing such a great job with their songs.

Here's Jacyn with her first set of pig tails. I can't believe I have a baby with enough hair to do something like this with. Letty was as bald as a cue ball at this age. It's so much fun, but definitely more work.
