A Visit from my Cousins and School Carnival

One of my cousins called me Friday evening and they were in town for the weekend. They really didn't have any plans, so I invited them to go to Thomas' school carnival that was Saturday. Here's Thomas doing the rock climbing wall.

Letty and Jacyn inside one of the boune houses.

Red Robin sponsored the carnival and Dan asked me to put together a gift basket to be given away in a raffle. Here's a picture of what I put together. It was pretty cool, it had a $30.00 gift card, two bendy Red's, a squishy hamburger, two fancy glasses, one Red Robin glass, Red Robin seasoning, 6 or so Red Robin pins, 5 magnets, two key chains, some stickers and a take-out menu.

Thomas had a performance at the carnival with his other classmates. They did a little dance to a song called Tony Chestnut (or Toe Knee Chest Nut). I got video of it, but it's too big to upload to the blog. It was very cute. After the performance it started to get really windy and looked like a storm was blowing in, so we decided to leave and head over to Red Robin for some lunch.

Here's Letty and her second cousin, Kierra, with what they were calling Lettuce Hats, on.

For some reason, I didn't get any other pictures of my cousin and the rest of his family. Sorry Jared and Carmen. We all had such a great time hanging out together. We had a bbq and the kids played and played. Oh, and of course, we got them addicted to the Wii. It was a blast.
