Jacyn enjoyed cuddling everyone's stuffed bunnies.
We found out about an egg hunt Today that was being put on by an Adventist Church for the neighborhood, so we went to the park to check it out. There's a bike path that starts at that park and we walked down it to check it out. Here's Jacyn running to catch up with Daddy and Thomas and Letty.
The kids at the park. Right before we left the house I guess Letty found that head band and decided that she needed to wear it, silly girl.

While we were waiting for the egg hunt to start and listening to the people give out instructions, Letty decided to wear her basket as a hat and Jacyn must have decided it was a backpack.
There were "special" eggs that the kids could find during this egg hunt. There was a golden egg, a silver egg and several numbered eggs. If you had an egg with a number on it, it meant that you would be involved in the telling of the story of Easter. Both Thomas and Letty found eggs with numbers on them. Letty had a piece of leather strap in her egg, which represented what the people used to tie Jesus' hands and feet to the cross with. Thomas had a little rock in his egg, which represented the huge boulder that was pushed in front of the door of Jesus' tomb. After taking their eggs up at the right part of the story they each got to pick a prize from the table. Thomas picked two little books that tell bible stories for kids and Letty picked a little paper purse that had little trinkets inside. Here's Thomas and Letty with their numbered eggs, showing what was inside.

Jacyn and Letty just looking adorable.

Jacyn trying to blow bubbles, so cute.

Daddy and the kids, after a fun Easter day of eating lots of chocolate.

Letty and Jacyn ended the day playing tea party with broken up chocolate bunny pieces.

I hope everyone had a great Easter, we sure did.

Glad to see that Lacie isn't the only one who likes to hang out in her diaper!
Glad you had a nice day.
