Easter Egg Hunt

I haven't been able to find any really good, consistent Easter Egg Hunts down here, except for this one at a local nature center and it's always about a week before Easter. It's different because the kids go hunting for eggs in dirt and brush. It is a lot of fun though. The egg hunt is free, and for $3.00 the kids can do a craft and get their picture with the Easter Bunny. After everything was said and done, we really didn't have time to do the craft, so we brought it home to be done tomorrow.
The first egg hunt was for Jacyn's age group. She had so much fun picking up the eggs and putting them in her basket. Out of all three kids, she is the first one to actually go after the eggs all alone and pick them up. I was always having to prod Thomas and Letty, but not Jacyn.

Here's Jacyn showing off her eggs to Thomas. She was so excited and proud of the eggs that she got. Just look at that smile on her face with Daddy. She was hopping and skipping all over the place. It was so adorable.

Both Letty and Thomas got their quota of eggs too. Thomas had just missed his age group's hunt, so he went in with the 7-8 year olds. That didn't matter much, he still ended up getting all the eggs he was allowed. Letty even got a gift certificate for a free kids meal at Del Taco inside one of her eggs.
Last but not least, the picture of the kids with the Easter Bunny.

It looks like it was tons of fun. It was a good thing I had already decided not to go, because Steve got home really late. The kids would've been so disappointed.
