Our trip to Salt Lake and back home (get ready it's a long one)

Here are a few pictures from downtown Salt Lake. My dad is working on the City Creek Center, he's a crane operator. We met him while he was on a lunch break and took a walk to the Gateway. On the way there Thomas jumped up on this pillar and that's when my dad said that we could see his crane in the background, that's what the arrow is pointing to.

We went into the Clark Planetarium and they had the weatherman station there and two spots where you could act like you were on the moon and on Mars. The kids loved it.

My mom and dad got this bike for free from someone in the neighborhood who was getting rid of it. It took a bit for Thomas to get the guts to try and ride it, but when he did he had a lot of fun.

Then Jacyn had fun trying to climb on it. In this first picture she's standing on one of the pedals.

We were hanging out on my parents patio and it was a little chilly and I didn't bring a jacket for Jacyn so I put Letty's jacket on her.

Grandma and Letty were having so much fun sitting on the patio.

Then the kids took a bubble bath in grandma's deep tub and Thomas and Letty had a lot of fun putting bubbles on Jacyn.

My mom and I had to put this little wave in Jacyn's hair.

On Sunday we went to the children's museum at the Gateway called "Discover Gateway." The kids had a blast. They didn't want to leave, but we had to go pick up Dan from the airport.

Here, I had turned around and Jacyn had climbed up onto the stroller.

Pretending to fly the Life Flight Helicopter, and my mom acting like they were on a crazy flight.

Monday we went and visited my Grandma. Here's Dan, Jacyn and Grandma Leila.

Then that evening we had a family birthday party for Letty at my parents' house. My mom and I made this cake for Letty, it's fudge frosting (soooo yummy).

This is a picture of me and my friends Stephanie and Bridgett. We have been friends for almost 30 years. It's amazing.

The night before Letty's party my parents bought a new patio furniture set that came in this huge box. That night Thomas slept in the box and the next day at the party the box was a hit. Here's a couple pictures of all, and I do mean ALL, of the kids at the party inside the box.

We drove home Tuesday morning because Thomas had a baseball game that night. Here are a few pictures from that game. Thomas did such a great job.
