My dad decided to come and visit for my birthday this year. It was so nice to have him here with us for a few days and for him to see our new house and get to spend some time with the kids. He was so worried that Jacyn wouldn’t really “know” him and he wanted some time to bond with her. Well, he didn’t have to do much, Jacyn knows her Grandpa Ron and was super excited when he got here. They had a great time getting to know each other better and all the kids were very sad when it was time for him to leave.
My birthday “cake.” I made this Eggnog cheesecake thing for my birthday. It looked like it would be really good from watching them make it on Studio 5, but I was pretty disappointed with how it turned out. However, every bit of it got eaten, eventually.
