Hanging Christmas Lights!

This year we went out and bought all new Christmas lights for our new house.  Dan was adamant that we have just the right amount of lights around the top and bottom levels of our house.  We both really love the blue lights and ended up finding enough blue LED lights to go around most of the sides and the front of the house on two levels.  We also got a really cool strand of lights that look like real icicles that were blue as well.
Dan had to climb on the roof to hang the majority of the lights.  I didn’t get any pictures of him laying down on the roof and basically hanging over the edge to hook up the lights.  I think it scared me a little to see him like that.  These pictures were taken while he was doing the “easy” part.  Dan did a great job and it took him all day to get it done.
 
I took this picture with my phone.  For some reason it took a better picture of what the lights looked like on than my camera.
