Baseball Game, Cash Drop Night!

Tonight was a cash drop at our local baseball team's game. After the game they let us all out onto the outfield and brought in a helicopter and dropped a bunch of money and coupons for everyone to scamper for. It was a lot of fun and there were a few tears at the end. We weren't right in the middle of the field and there wasn't any wind, so we didn't get the majority of the money landing on us. I ended up with $4.00, a coupon to Texas Roadhouse for a free kids meal, and two coupons for Sportsmen's Warehouse for $10.00 of a purchase of $50.00 and I ripped one of my fingernails off while trying to grab the money as it tried to blow away. Dan ended up with $1.00, a Sportsmen's Warehouse coupon and a $5.00 gift certificate to Baskin Robbins (Yay!). Letty got $1.00 and Thomas got nothing :( I saw one straggler of a dollar bill floating down from the sky and told Thomas to go get it. I guess that was a bad idea, by the time he got there and the dollar go near the ground a crowd swarmed in and he got trampled, I think a long with at least one other boy. He came out crying and having a fit that he didn't get anything. By the time we got home and Dan got him tucked into bed he felt much better and is excited for the next time they do a cash drop. He did end up with Daddy's coupon and $1.00, so that helped. Overall it was a fun time, we all ended up with more money that we got there with and some free ice cream at Baskin Robbins in the future.
