Little miss Jack-O-Lantern

Letty's cute little toothless smile sure makes her look like a jack-o-lantern. She has two other slightly loose teeth and I told her that if she loses them before her others come in, we might just have to paint her orange for halloween so she can go as a jack-o-lantern. She thought that would be fun. She was so happy to lose that tooth and so was I.

Here's a close up of her big tooth from the backside. We knew she had a cavity between her two big teeth and here you can really see it. It even looks like a section of her enamel was going to break off or something. It's a good thing that tooth came out when it did.

The Tooth Fairy better not be late again tonight.

Update: The Tooth Fairy made it this time, but instead of giving out a golden dollar coin, she gave Letty a paper dollar. She left a note telling Letty that she had been so busy that she ran out of golden dollars and had to give her a paper dollar this time. WOW, that Tooth Fairy really was busy the last few days if she ran out of golden dollars.
