Cotton Days Parade

Today was the annual Cotton Days Parade. While we were waiting for the parade to start the girls played on the playground equipment at a nearby park. Jacyn is such a monkey. It doesn't matter that she's only 21 month's old, she'll climb anything.

These Star Wars guys were giving out comic books, but we weren't able to get one for Thomas.

Dan drove his friend's truck in the parade and had it all decked out in Red Robin banners and balloons, while Thomas threw bendy Reds and squishy hamburgers to the people on the side of the road.

Once the truck passed us, the girls and I walked along the rest of the parade route with them. Actually, the girls rode in the truck. Letty helped throw out the rest of the Red Robin loot. We watched Red greet all the people too.

It was such a fun parade. It was really exciting to be a part of a parade too. Thomas loved it.
