This is our second year being with Red Robin and participating in the Peach Days Parade. It’s so much fun. Last year the kids and I walked in the parade. This year the kids decided that they wanted to watch the parade, so they could get candy. It ended up working out that they were able to watch the entire parade and be in the parade. The Red Robin float was at the end of the parade line up and we were close to the beginning of the parade route, so when our float came by I threw the kids on the float and they had fun throwing candy to the people on the side of the road.
At the end of the parade they have these candy canons that shoot out tons of candy into the air. It was a lot of fun to see them shoot out all the candy and everyone would scream every time they did it.
Here’s a picture of the candy in the air.
My friend Trisha and her girls were here for the weekend and Jacyn and Kayla had so much fun together. Here they are reading stories to each other in Jacyn’s bed.
