Jacyn had decided that she wanted to stay with Grandma and Papa for a little bit after her surgery, so they kept her for a week and then brought her home. She had so much fun. Aunt Marin was in town and they built a snowman together and played dress up.
I thought I would also share one of my facebook posts from the time that she was gone. Here goes:
I miss my baby girl so much. My world is just not the same without her here every day being her crazy self. I think she's having way too much fun with Grandma and Papa, she didn't even call me yesterday, I had to call her. :( The other unexpected feeling coming from Jacyn being gone?.... I feel totally and utterly incomplete without her around.
Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
