This year we decided to cut down our own tree, for the first time. We decided to drive up to Cedar Canyon because that is where the kind of trees that I like were. We tromped through the snow checking out all the different trees. The tree we ended up cutting down was close to the beginning of where we started looking. It was so awesome, it started out as one tree trunk and then split into two. So we had two tops. We also decided to take a few family pictures while we were there and I’m so glad that we did because they turned out fantastically. So, here they are, ending with a picture of our new tree strapped to the top of the van.
We can’t wait to cut down our tree for next year. We’re thinking this may be a new tradition.
